Mission Statement
The TLL Temple Foundation’s mission for Boggy Slough is to serve as a model of excellence for East Texas through ecological research and outreach to promote conservation, management, and stewardship of natural resources.
The vision for the Boggy Slough Conservation Area is threefold
TO SERVE:
as a model for conservation and land management for a wide range of audiences
TO SERVE:
as a catalyst for creating a stewardship ethic and connection to nature in our communities

critical research holes regarding the forest and bottomland ecosystems of the Southeast
